Joy. Need to fix someone elses website reporting an alert on #AVG for Exploit Script Injection. Seems like a false positive.

I can smell the week and it smells goood.
Going through one of my blogs, looking through the comments I can see it’s definately been picked up by spam commenters pushing their wares.
In a meeting later on this morning then back to the developing as I update a live testing site for one of the projects I’m working on.
OK, scratch that. Dev. first, meeting later.
The #VPS is so much quicker without spammers hammering it.

Strange. I was not receiving Twitter updates via #TweetDeck for over 4 hours but seems fixed after upgrading to the latest version, 0.30.5.
Why couldn’t I get a decent default icon from Twitter. It’s the least they could do. #twitterfail

SMPT server was configured with some suspect IPSec rules. Fixed.
Stupid VPS keeps running out of memory.
OK. Keeping an eye on the SMTP server logs. It’ amassed 30MB worth of entries in the space of 5 mins. Sheesh.
I’m watching a one week old #1and1 VPS get hammered by spam attempts. How did they get the details so quickly?!

Managed to unclog a #1and1 webmail account using Gmail and plenty of patience. And quite a crafty little workaround too, I might add.
